This is a great idea! Both the cake and writing notes on recipes. We have a little box with our favorites in it, but dates and notes would be so helpful!

Wow, that looks like some serious chocolate. My mom did the same thing about commenting on recipes, and now I have inherited decades-old recipes with her notes – it’s fantastic.
